Doug began his insurance career in 1976 as an underwriter for Fireman’s Fund in Salt Lake. He later joined the agency business in 1980, specializing in the construction industry. Doug is a lifelong learner and has received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Boise State University. He has also acquired the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), the Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI), and the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations.
You will often find Doug at his favorite Idaho Falls restaurant, Snake Bite, which was started by a good friend over 20 years ago. He has a passion for biking and running, completing 22 marathons and countless 1/2 marathons in his lifetime.
Angie has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, starting her career in 1994. She has been with The Buckner Company since 2015, specializing in protecting the assets of individuals and families. She holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and is currently working toward her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.
Angie enjoys about anything in the great outdoors, hiking and swimming being her favorites. She has 2 children and loves spending time with them. Baseball is a huge part of their lives and you can find her on the baseball fields in Idaho and Utah almost year-round supporting her son’s love of the game. Her favorite vacation destination is the Oregon coast.
Brad entered the insurance industry in 1978, joining Buckner in 2010. His areas of expertise include agriculture, aviation, fuel distributors, and construction. He has obtained his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) licensure.
Brad counts hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and sports among his various hobbies. He considers raising his family his greatest accomplishment.
Since getting his start in 2009, Kurt has been a great asset to the insurance industry. Prior to joining Buckner, Kurt received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance, as well as Bachelor’s degree in Spanish.
Kurt has a passion for both playing and coaching sports, and has enjoyed watching his own four children learn and develop new skills through athletics. His family is very important to him and when asked about his favorite restaurant, he replied, “My wife’s home cooking”.
Taylor joined the insurance industry in 2015 after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Since then he has received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) licensure. His insurance specialty has been in the Healthcare sector, as well as the Construction industry.
Taylor is a history buff at heart. In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his family and friends. People often say he looks like Prince William—what do you think?
