Troy has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years. He holds Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations from The National Alliance, and was selected as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects (FASLA) in 2010. In 2021, Troy was honored to receive the Insurance Person of the Year Award from the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado, their top annual award given to Colorado agents that exemplify professionalism in the industry. Troy also received the 2021 John Garvey Person of the Year Award from the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado. Troy completed his Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University. Troy’s industry specialties include landscape architects and contractors, architects, engineers, green industry wholesalers, manufacturing, transportation, and freight forwarders. Since his youth, Troy has enjoyed downhill and cross-country skiing and finds great satisfaction being outdoors where he can also golf, hunt and he is an avid flyfisherman. Troy also enjoys teaching others and has had the pleasure of being a guest speaker at multiple risk management programs and university classes and has written numerous insurance and risk management articles for various trade industries throughout the years.
