Phil Shelby began his career in the insurance industry in 2020 and joined Buckner in 2026 as a Property & Casualty broker. He specializes in serving nonprofit organizations and social service agencies, with expertise in specialized coverages including Directors & Officers liability, volunteer liability, and employment practices liability. In addition to his insurance experience, Phil is the co-founder of Ivory Flow Entertainment, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing music resources and opportunities for underserved youth. His firsthand experience operating a nonprofit allows him to better understand the unique challenges and risks faced by mission-driven organizations, helping clients develop insurance programs that support their goals and protect their operations.
