James has over 20 years of experience in the industry, getting his start with insurance in 2004. He joined Buckner in 2015, with specialties in construction, real estate, and manufacturing. James received a bachelor’s degree, procured his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, as well as a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation. In his spare time, James enjoys snowboarding, golfing, playing hockey, and loves to travel—that is when he is not chasing his two active children in their extracurricular activities of dance, tumbling, lacrosse, hockey, soccer, and baseball. He aspires to take his family to every continent one day. His favorite movie is Miracle (the USA hockey team in 1980) and his favorite restaurant is the American-bistro, Tiburon.
