Kai Wainer joined The Buckner Company in 2024 and works in the Surety practice, helping clients navigate bonding needs with strategic, service-focused solutions. He entered the insurance industry in 2024 and quickly made an impact through strong growth and client relationship development. In his first full year as department lead, Kai achieved 42% book growth and helped grow the book of business beyond $1,000,000. He earned his degree in Finance, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business, and also received a Certificate of Achievement from the William J. Angell Surety School. Outside the office, Kai enjoys golfing, playing guitar, and spending time outdoors. Growing up in Moab, he developed a love for hiking that remains one of his favorite pastimes today.
